We recently introduced Gabrielle to the wonderful world of Gerber Puffs.   She is absolutely fascinated by them.

Who Needs Toys?

I wonder how much money is spent each year on baby toys.

Why spend money on toys when you have a table and chairs?  They're so fun to crawl over!

Mixing bowls are so much fun to knock over and bang against the floor to make noise!

Mixing bowls make yummy things, so the bowls must be yummy too, right?

And they are so much fun to sit in too!

Jump Around!

This year, we told the Madoreables that they could choose some fun, after school activities.  Sarah wanted to try out gymnastics and Samantha wanted to sign up for school choir and an art class.

Green With Envy

We have found out a pattern with Gabrielle's eating...

She LOVES anything orange...especially sweet potatoes.

Still is very tight lipped about green beans...

Labor Day Weekend 2015

This Summer, we unfortunately didn't make it to the beach as much as we wanted to.   So we made sure we hit our favorite beach spot for Labor Day weekend:  Plum Island Beach Reservation in Newburyport.

The girls had a great time and the water was surprisingly warm.

Apple Picking 2015

Hard to believe that it's that time of year where we're able to go apple picking!   We found a great farm near our house and the trees were perfect for the picking.   The girls had a great time climbing the trees of course, and Gabrielle had a great time just holding her one apple in her lap.

1/2 bushel later, we filled up our bag.   Many thoughts of apple pie, and apple crisp in our heads.

At the end, we found out that there was a magician hosting a show right on the farm grounds.   We decided to stay, and Sarah was called up as a volunteer to the magician's assistant.

The Eyes Have It!

Yesterday, I received a phone call from Samantha while she was at school.   This small voice on the other end of the phone got my "Mommy Spidey Senses" going.   She sounded like something was wrong and trying hard not to cry.   I found out that Sam's plastic frames broke while she was at school.  A clean break at the bridge of the nose.  Ironically one month prior to Samantha's 1 year eye exam.

So right after school we ran to the Optomistrist which is a 5 minute drive, picked out a new pair.   Then we found out that the eye doctor was able to insert a pin in the broken frames.  Hooray!
