Morning At The Playground

I took the Madore-ables to the playground this morning before lunch. Sarah has so much fun exploring, and Samantha is just a little social butterfly and becomes friends with any child who appears to be playing nicely. I always enjoy taking the girls to Winnikenni Playground for several reasons:

1. The playground itself is always clean
2. It's the perfect place for a picnic lunch and an afternoon of play
3. The grounds are covered with nice green grass, a small lake (not for swimming) and if you have a sweet tooth, the ice cream truck makes frequent stops.
4. If your children get bored with playing on the playground, there are plenty of walking trails all around to go exploring, and for us Mamas to get some exercise! There's also bike trails and tennis courts too.
5. There a historical castle further into the woods...how exciting is that? Especially for you parents who have children with excellent imaginations.

The girls had a great morning and are napping now as I post this. Boston is scheduled to have some hot and humid weather this coming week, so I'm sure there will be more posts this week featuring "Adventure With the Madore-ables!"
