Five Things Friday

Five Things That Happened This Past Week That Made Me Smile

  1. Next week, Samantha has her first field trip with her school: we're going apple picking! Samantha's teacher asked us parents to pick up a sweatshirt so the students can all be wearing the same thing next week. I thought of going out to one of the local major stores, but I thought I would take a chance by going to the local consignment shop. So, needless to say I found one and for $4.00 too! SO excited!

  2. Samantha has a small notebook that she loves to write letters inside of. While we're driving in the car, or just relaxing at home, Sam will write down words just by sounding them out. Samantha is now writing her full name, from left to write with no hesitation.

  3. I started my new job last week, but started my actual hours this past week. It's so nice to be doing something different. Plus, even though I know I have contributed heavily in the Madore-ables upbringing, it's nice to also feel that I am contributing financially as well.

  4. Autumn is officially here! We started celebrating last week by making home made mac n' cheese and apple crisp. Not only is Autumn here, but "Comfort Food" season is here too! Next on the menu: home made soup!

  5. Jeremy and I have been extremely busy, and will be busy for the next month with planning high school senior portraits along with family portraits. We're so excited! We are so fortunate to have a job and be creative and have fun with it. If you know of any high school seniors who are looking for their high school senior yearbook photographs, or any photographing needs at all, feel free to visit our website! Captured in Moments.
