Five Things Friday

Five Things That Happened This Past Week That Made Me Smile:

1. The weather in Boston this past week has just been unusually amazing. I say "unusually" because it's March and it's not usually anything over 50 degrees, but we've had a week straight of 70-80 degree weather. The Madore-ables and I have done nothing but playground hop, run errands and just keep the windows rolled down. We started off with the nice, beautiful weather last weekend by going to the beach. There have been lots of dirty faces, hands and toes from all of our outdoor playing.



2. As a result of all this fresh air, the Madore-ables have been eating non-stop! It's nice to hear the girls asking to eat healthy things for breakfast and lunch.



3. My raffle for my AWBC walk continues to go well. For those of you who don't know, I'm walking 39.3 miles in May for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. I'm running a raffle for a Kindle Fire. Tickets are being sold for $5.00 each and all the proceeds will go to my AWBC walk. The raffle will end on Sunday, 5/13 when the winner's name will be announced! 4. This past week, Jeremy and the girls have come in a few times to visit me at work. It's been a nice surprise to share my work-break with them :)



5. Sarah officially knows how to write her name all by herself! She wrote it a few weeks ago, but I needed to help her on the letter "R". Now that she has discovered how to write a lower case "r" it's easy-peasy!
