The day before Samantha started, she attended an orientation where we were able to go in and see her classroom, and her locker. Sam didn't say much while we were there which made me nervous, but I'm learning that just because Sam is not saying something, doesn't mean she's not happy. When we left the school to go home, Sam completely "switched off" her quiet mode and "turned on" her chatter mode. It was so amazing to see the wheels just turning, and the smiles.
