Dear Gabrielle,
Today you are two months old! You continue to grow and change by the day it seems. You do not look like the little peanut that we brought home from the hospital! Mommy, Daddy, and your sisters have loved watching you change. From adding to your cute little chubby legs and cheeks, to little baby smiles here and there. It's just amazing the things that you are doing everyday. We are just so blessed to have you as part of our family. You have brought so much joy and happiness to us all. For someone so small, you have quite the fan base of people who love you.
So far at 2 months:
- You're still drinking Mommy's milk... and still at 5 ounces each feeding.
- You've definitely outgrown Size 1 diapers!! (Mommy only bought you one box of size 1 before you outgrew them. In fact, Mommy had to pass along a half box of size 1 diapers to Aunt Jessica who is expecting your cousin in July!)
- You're sleeping like clockwork for 4 hours and waking for your next feeding. (You've gone as long as 6 hours once or twice). It doesn't happen all that often, but Mommy has noticed that you're waking up around the same time early in the morning. Instead of waking up two times per night consistently, it's been waking up two or three times per week!
- You're still using the pacifier, but not a whole lot.
- You STILL burp like a champion
- You still make some EXCELLENT facial expressions. Your little baby smiles just brighten our day.
- You're making eye contact and hold it.
- You're holding your head up for longer periods of time...which will make tummy time much easier.
- You still hate having your bath...
- Mommy and Daddy discovered (especially at night) after you've had a bottle, you'll fuss and cry, but as soon as Mommy and Daddy start to talk, you calm right down and go to sleep. I think you just enjoy soft sounds.
One of your favorite places to be is on your back on your changing table. You still love to look at the beautiful drawings taped on the wall that Samantha and Sarah have made.
Mommy and Daddy have thoroughly enjoyed being home to watch you grow up. We worked when Samantha was born, and once Sarah was born, Mommy stayed home but Daddy continued to work outside of the house. The time around, we're so blessed to be able to do what we love with our photography and be home with you and your sisters. Thank you for entertaining us as much as you do.

Don't grow up too quickly baby girl.
Love, Mommy and Daddy
