Today you turn 10 months old. We're not shocked at the fact that you are now ten months old, we're more amazed that you are 2 months away from your first birthday
So what things are you up these days?
- You've mastered the art of "scootching" around. You haven't figured out crawling yet, but you do enjoy spending your time crawling underneath things like the kitchen table and your exersaucer.
- You've gotten much more confident at sitting up. You're pulling yourself up to a kneeling stance and sit up nice and straight. You haven't figured out yet that if you throw yourself backwards that you're going to smack your head. We're getting there though.
- No new teeth yet, you still have your two bottom ones. Your drooling is absolutely insane lately, so we're hoping those upper teeth come through soon.
- We always look forward to getting you from your crib. You're always so excited to see us and frankly, we think it's quite humorous that your crib is an absolute mess when we come get you. You have so much fun playing with your blanket and your animals.
- You're still testing out the volume of your voice and SCREAM for the fun of it.
- You still continue to stop everything your doing when we say "grace" before each meal. Although now, you're talking very softly as if you're following along with what we're saying.
- You still love plastic cups, but love cardboard boxes even more. Mommy's big mixing bowls and colanders in the kitchen also keep you out of trouble. You're becoming a big fan of electrical cords as well. You've been keeping Mommy on her toes during your daytime hours.
- You have some very sweet belly laughs...and frankly any silly noises and faces that Daddy sends your way, you just absolutely crack yourself up. You're definitely a Daddy's girl.
- You still continue to love your yogurt and yogurt. We recently added "Gerber Puffs" to your eating repertoire.
- You've taken a new found interest in pulling Mommy's hair and ripping her earrings out of her ears.
It has been such a pleasure to watch you change each day. You smile and scream happily whenever you see your sisters.
We love you Gabrielle. We could not be more happier that God blessed us with you. You have certainly brought so much joy to all of us.
Love always,
Mommy and Daddy
Here is how I am looking today at 10 months old!
Mommy's mixing bowls are so much fun! They make lots of noise so Mommy knows where I am.
I can pull myself into a kneeling position like this. Mommy and Daddy wonder if I will ever actually "crawl". Why crawl when I can push myself around with my arms on these awesome hard wood floors?
My most happy time is breakfast.
And lunch.
And dinner.
