Five Things Friday

Five Things That Happened This Past Week That Made Me Smile

  1. Boston was able to have some beautiful weather this past Tuesday. Sure, it was only 40 degrees, but it was a heat wave compared to the frigid, typical January temperatures we've been having. The Madore-ables were able to take out their bikes and we went on a bike ride. I was also able to take the camera out with us. With the cold temps, I haven't been able to take as many photos. So, a happy day for all of us. If you missed the blog post, you can click here.

  2. I found out earlier this week at work that I received a "secret shop" and received a 100%!!!! For those of you who don't know what that means, it just means that a customer came into the store and their sole purpose of being there was not only to eat, but to secretly grade me and my performance of waiting on them. I was so happy to hear of my 100% and it's really helped me focus on each person that comes in, because who knows if they're a secret shopper too? :)

  3. Jeremy and I have signed ourselves up for our first Bridal Gala Expo. We're really excited about it! So, if you know of anyone who is engaged, and in the process of planning their wedding, click here for more information! Captured in Moments and other several vendors will be there.

  4. Fundraising and training continue to go well. I injured my foot slightly this past week, so I was taking it easy as to not injure myself. My foot is feeling much much better, so I'm hoping to get back on the treadmill this coming weekend.

  5. Jeremy and I set up a "penny jar" rewards system for both the Madore-ables a few weeks back, and we have definitely seen some positive results from it. Both girls have decided that once they fill up their jars with pennies, they want to go to Imajine That over in Lawrence.
