Baking Date

Earlier this week, Sarah and I had a special date. When Samantha and I had our special date a few weeks back, we took the tour of the post office as well as officer safety. This week, Sarah did something fun: baking.

Each child received their own piece of dough with their name on it.

Sarah wasn't sure what to make of this white goo. I found it quite amusing that she was annoyed that it stuck to her hand.

Sarah decided to make a "S" bread cookie.

Sarah kept wrapping up her "S" cookie and opening it up and saying "surprise"

Then Sarah found out that we weren't done...

SPRINKLES!!

While we waited for the "S" cookie to bake...

Sarah had some water and didn't spill a drop.

DING! They're done!

When I asked Sarah how her cookie was, her response?

"Yum-ME"

One of the Mommies of the group just had a baby about a month ago. Sarah walked over to the baby's car seat carrier and each time she walked over, the baby was sleeping and Sarah would just come back and sit next to me. At one point, the baby let out this HUGE cry/scream, and Sarah bolted over just to go check things out. When the Mom pulled her out of the car seat, Sarah asked if she could "hold baby please?"

Needless to say, Sarah was in her element and had a great day : )
