A conversation that Sarah and I recently had at breakfast
Me: Sarah, would you like anything else to eat?
Sarah: No kay-q (a.k.a "thank you") Mommy.
Me: Ok, would you like any mandarin oranges?
Sarah: No kay-q Mommy.
Me: Ok, well if you're all done then let's go wash your hands and you can go play.
Sarah: (Whimpering) I'm hungry Mommy!
Me: Oh, ok hunny. You're hungry?
Sarah: Yes Mommy.
Me: What would you like to eat then?
Sarah: Oranges please!
*Sigh*
