Five Things That Have Made Me Smile In the Last Week

1. Christmas time is coming. I absolutely like love get so giddy (yes folks, I admit it...I get giddy) about this time of year. We bought our Christmas tree last weekend and it's now up and decorated. Now to start the Christmas shopping to fill the bottom with presents.
2. Sarah's turning 2 tomorrow!! I have to admit that I am in a little bit of denial and have no idea where the 2 years have gone. I feel like so much has changed (for the better) and we're in a much better place in many ways. Sarah has progressed so much in the last 2 years. I'm just so amazed and so proud of her.
3. Sarah actually sat on the potty the other night and umm...well, you know :) The awesome thing is, we're not really trying all that hard. We were getting ready for bath time, and usually I have Sarah sit on the little potty just until I get the bathtub water to the right temperature. I decided to carpe diem the potty moment. I especially thought it was really cute when Sarah was all done, we were clapping and acting all excited! Sarah kept dancing around the bathroom floor shouting "Yaaaaaaaaaaaay Sarah!" Who thought pee and poo could be so exciting!
4. Is it strange to say that I truly love my part time job? I look forward to every Thursday morning going into work and accomplishing the projects that I've been assigned. It feels so good to finish my projects. Plus, it's nice to work with my hubby too.
5. Speaking of getting things done, I've been going to town on cleaning our place and donating all sorts of things to FreeCycle. It feels so good to have a nice clean house, and helping out those in need at the same time.
