Five Things Friday

Five Things That Happened This Past Week That Made Me Smile:

  1. Last weekend, I completed an eighteen mile training walk.  Other than a little stiffness, I felt fantastic.  I definitely feel very prepared to walk the Avon Walk in a few weeks.  I'm still accepting donations.  You can donate online to www.avonwalk.org/goto/Jennifer.Madore or email me at SimNiffer214 at Yahoo dot com.
  2. Jeremy and I are planning our Summer vacation.  We've decided to go camping and join Jeremy's brother and our sister in law, but we haven't figured out exactly where we're going yet.  We are thinking Mount Blue in Maine.  The Madore-ables are really excited to use their new sleeping bags and make s'mores.  I'm excited to use the new tent and sleeping bags that we got on sale with some awesome coupons at BJ's Wholesale Club.
  3. This past week, my friend Melissa who's a consultant for Thirty One had a bag party at my house.  It was so nice to sit and relax with some wine and fun people.  Not too mention, I was able to really make out a bandit on some free goodies for being a hostess!  Hooray!
  4. I did three loads of laundry today and put everything away.  (If you really know me, you will know of my love for folding laundry and putting it away).  It's so nice to see my couch again!
  5. Even in the craziness of being Mother and Wife each day, I try to think of all the positive things going on in my life.  I've really noticed the girls and their kindness and their thoughtfulness.   It's an even bigger bonus when they are kind and thoughtful to each other, but knowing that my crazy Madore-ables are thinking of Daddy or myself, or Nanny when they are not present in the room.  For example, Samantha makes such beautiful pictures for me while she's at school.  She picks my favorite colors, or Daddy's favorite colors.  When I get home, or I'm getting ready to go to work in the afternon, the girls give me the biggest hugs and kisses EVER.  Sometimes Sarah knocks me off my feet she's so strong!  It's nice to be thought of.
