When I Grow Up

I asked the Madore-ables the other day what they wanted to be when they grow up. Quite different then how they reponded back in March.  Here is how they responded to their new found dreams.

Samantha:
  • "I want to be a conductor for trains"
  • "I want to be a pilot for airplanes"
  • I want to own a restaurant where you don't sit inside, you actually sit outside and have picnics"  (Mommy's note:  this was completely Sam's idea.  I had no power of suggestion in it.  And for a 4-1/2 year old, I say this idea is pretty darn genius!)
  • "I want to work at Logan airport, because if I'm going to be driving planes, I need to have some place to land them.  Also, if my husband is going to be a pilot, then he's going to want to have a place to land his plane too!"
  • "I also want to work at Papa John's because that's where Daddy used to work, and pizza is yummy"
  • "I want to take Mommy & Daddy on trips and have me fly the airplane!"
  • "My last job is to take care of dogs and cats.  Be a dog sitter or a cat sitter.  Take them for walks.  Give them baths.  Play with them.  But only 1 at a time."

Sarah:
  • "I want to drive a super duper smokey train!"  (said by a 3 year old)
  • "I want to wear sunglasses and read books to everyone all over the world"
  • "I want to be a star athlete"  (Mommy note:  she got this term from a ABC game she has).
and last but certainly not least:
  • "I want to work at Panera Bread just like Mommy and bring home muffies all the time".
