Christmas Again?

I had a "a-ha" moment about 3 weeks ago. I also had the same "a-ha" moment yesterday morning. It was then that I confirmed that I love grocery shopping when the store first opens at 7:00 am. I go in, there's nobody around. The morning management staff actually speaks and says "good morning" to me. The girl at the register is friendly. It's just fabulous.

I also love coming home when I've just grocery shopped. Anybody would think it's Christmas in our house. Jeremy headed out the door to go to work. Then both the Madore-ables helped me put the pantry goodies away. Each time they openened a bag, they got so excited. Here are some things that were said while opening bags:

Samantha: "Mommy! You bought gold fish crackers? I love gold fish crackers!"
Sarah: "Mommy! Noo-noo's!" (a.k.a "Mommy! Noodles!")
Samantha: "Mommy! You bought a lot of Jell-O!"
(Editor's note: She doesn't need to know that it's 4/$1.00 this week)
Sarah: "Cra-cra!" (a.k.a "Crackers!")
Samantha: "TACOS?!? I love tacos! Does that mean we're having tacos for dinner tonight?"
Sarah: "Greeeeeen GRAPES!"
Well, you get the idea. Lots of "diving in"...and just like Christmas morning, there was quite the mess of plastic bags all over the kitchen.

  1. Sammy did such an awesome job putting the groceries away. It looks just like Market Basket. LOL. I'm glad she likes to help; you always did, too, Jenn. Enjoy.
    Love,
