Dear Sarah (27 Month Update)

Dear Sarah,

Today, you turn 27 months old. Daddy and I are just amazed at the amount of progress that you continue to make each day. We look forward each month to sit down and figure what strides you have made.

Your vocabulary really amazes us. Sure, you're two years old. You use words like "no" and "mine" and "go away", but you also say things like "allrighty then" and "I love you Mommy/Daddy" (always followed by a kiss and a BIG hug). You also say sweet things to your sister like, "Good morning Sammy" and "Yay! Sammy's awake!". Mommy's favorite time of the day is morning time. She really loves listening to you singing and talking in your crib, but espeically loves listening to you sing and talk with Samantha. Your spouting off your letters and your numbers, and your latest accomplishment: COLORS!

Not only are you increasing your English vocabulary, but you are also beginning to speak some Spanish vocabuary too. You are now counting from 1-10 in Spanish and also identfying colors too. It's funny to hear you yell out "por favor" (a.k.a "please!")

You've also shown a really big interest in music lately. Your favorite song is "You are my sunshine". Your favorite song in the car is Train's "Hey Soul Sister". You even request it by name.

Although, we don't really agree with ball throwing in the house, Daddy and I have noticed that you have quite the arm on you. Josh Beckett would be proud!

Mommy and Daddy do have to ask...what's up with you taking your pj's off in the morning?

Thank you for continuing to amuse and entertain Mommy and Daddy and Samantha...and of course everyone else around you. Your smile and your hugs make us so much better. You're so young and have no idea how happier you make our lives just being here.

We love you...always remember that.
