Oh The Funny Things Kids Will Say

Yesterday while I was getting dinner ready, the Madore-ables were in the living room playing together. At one point, Samantha and Sarah both were running around and I asked them to stop. Of course, they're 3 1/2 and 2 years old and they decided not to listen to me so I had to remind them that they need to stop running around or else they may trip and get hurt.



So they both stopped. I was excited that they decided to listen.





Or so I thought.





Next thing I know, I hear Samantha rustling through a box. And then quiet. Quiet is never a good sound unless your kids are sleeping. Then I heard giggling.





So I poked my head around the corner just in time to see Samantha bolt away from Sarah and start a new round of tag. Samantha was wearing her skating helmet and her knee pads. So I asked Samantha what was going on.





Her response?














"Mommy, I put my helmet and knee pads on so I wouldn't trip and get hurt".
