Five Things Friday

Five Things That Made Me Smile This Past Week

  1. My training continues to go very well. I've been waking up early this week to squeeze a jog with my Wii before the girls wake up. For the last couple weekends, I've been getting together with my walking team for our training walks. Tomorrow a 9 mile walk is scheduled just outside of Boston, and the weather is supposed to be fantastic. With the time change this coming Sunday, this means I can also get up and do a daily 5 mile walk and still be home in time for Jeremy to go to work. Now I just have to load up my iPod with some good tunes! There is still time to donate. Click HERE to go to my personal page.
  2. I'm full time stay at home Mom with my Madore-ables, but every Thursday, I work for 4 hours at Jeremy's company filling purchase requistions, and other little jobs that help loosen the load for Jeremy. Well, one of Jeremy's coworkers had some emergency surgery and I was asked to fill in for a few weeks just on Thursdays. Yesterday was my first day. I'm used to being on the clock while I'm at home. It's hard work playing Candy Land, and Play Doh and coloring all day. I actually forgot what it was like to put a full work day in outside of the house. It was nice to work with Jeremy all day, but I also missed my Madore-ables too. They were SO excited to see Jeremy and I when we went to go pick them up at my Mom's house. It was so cute. Thank you to my Mom for watching the girls all day too :)
  3. So my car decided to not start for me the other day. Not really sure why. So my fabulous amazing Jeremy came home from work after a long hard day and worked on my car in the driveway. He seems to think that he fixed the problem, but only time will tell.
  4. This weekend we'll be heading to Maine to visit Jeremy's family. We haven't been up North since the New Year so it will be nice to see everyone.
  5. It's still early in the season, and it's New England so anything could change, but looking at next week's weather and seeing 40, 50 and almost 60 degree sunny days makes me very happy. :) :) :)
