Today you celebrate your 22 month birthday. We can't believe that in 2 months you'll be two years old. You've come such a long way, and you continue to amaze us all with your progression.
In the last month, you are really trying hard to expand your vocabulary. Your newest addition is "Emma" (Elmo) and "sky". It's also cute to listen to you sing your "ABC's" and hear you sing some of the letters in the correct order. You're even attempting to say "I love you". Right now, if we say "I" then you say "Yooooooou" but you always follow up with a hug or a pat on the shoulder. We just need to work on saying the "love" part, but I'm sure that's coming.
You're also doing a great job on your animal sounds. It's fun to read you Eric Carle's "The Very Busy Spider" and know that you've memorized what animal comes next. "Nay Nay" says the horse. "Mee-mee" says the cow. "Hooo hoooo" says the owl. "Baa baa" says the sheep. "Ma-ma" says the goat.
Daddy and I are also very excited that you are trying new foods. We are hoping that you can start to try some vegetables too. Now granted, some meals it takes a lot of patience to get you to try something new, but once you try these new foods isn't it worth it? :) Silly girl.
We're so excited about all of your new milestones, not too mention the fact that we're all proud of you. Keep up the good work sweet pea. Remember that Daddy and I always will love you and that we're always here for you. Thank you for continuing to make our lives better with your smile and everything that you are.
