As moments come up, I've been trying to teach Sam about past and present tense when she talks. (Going to the playground rather than go'd to the playground.) So over the weekend while we were eating dinner. Samantha was munching along when all of a sudden:
Samantha: "Mommy! My lip hurts!"
Me: "Oh no Sam, why what's wrong? What do you mean it hurts?"
Samantha: "It stings"
(I take a look and don't see anything)
Me: "Sam, I don't see anything hunny. Here, drink some of your water. Did you bite your lip?"
Sam: "No Mommy, I bit it"
Touche Sam :)
