- Today is October 1st, which means we're really heading into the cool, Autumn/Fall weather. My favorite time of the year. Tons of apple picking, baking. SO excited! My house is about to smell fantastic.
- Sarah's vocabulary is expanding by the week it seems. She's not saying the full alphabet, but she definitely knows some letters and always says them in the right order. She even shouts them out to show how proud she is. "a-b-c-d-e-F-g-h-i-j-k-l-m-n-o-P-q-r-S-t-u-V-w-X-y and Z! I wish I could video tape her and post it on my blog to show you. So funny. Sarah also love to shout out animal noises too. She can't quite say her "O's" yet, so instead of "oink oink" for a pig, she says, "Ike-ike!"
- Tomorrow and Sunday, my Mom and I are putting on a yard sale at her home. This past week, New England has been experiencing some winds, rains and flooding. But, it looks like Mother Nature has received the memo about our yard sale and has ordered 60-degree skies. Thank you Mama Nature!
- Jeremy and I received a Netflix promotion in the mail last week. Normally we're skeptical about anything that says "FREE!" on it. We've been using it for one week and already we love it. For just $9.00 a month, we can choose from unlimited movies, and as long as you mail them back when you're done with them, they'll ship one out to you within 2 or 3 business days. No late fees. You can even watch movies through your Wii system too (if you have one). Technology is amazing today, huh? Absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend it if you have thought about joining.
- Jeremy and I have come to the decision that Samantha is (dare I say this?) old enough to have a big girl bed. We realized when we went to Cape Cod over Labor Day weekend that she was ready and more than excited about sleeping on an air mattress. So this week, we shopped for mattresses and found an old brass bed up in my Mom's attic that would be the perfect size for Sam. It just needs a little polish, but other than that, it's in fantastic shape! I'm hoping the transition of her moving into the bed goes well. Sam seems really excited about it, so we're excited for her.
