Today you turn 23 months months old. Just think, this time next month we'll be celebrating your 2nd birthday. This year has gone by so fast and you have made so much progress. We are so proud of you.
Things are a lot different this month: for the better. You no longer need Sue to come to our house every Tuesday for EI. We just had our last appointment this past week. Unfortunately, this means that we won't be able to attend the Monday morning playgroup anymore, but we are on the waiting list for another playgroup for another day. So, hopefully very soon we'll hear something.
Your vocabulary has also increased, and seems to increase everyday. Samantha is going to be a great learning tool for you, so make sure you listen to your big sister. You're looking at pictures, and identifying people. You love saying "hi" and "bye" to everybody. (And I mean everybody). The girls at the check out line at the grocery store know your name now because you are so friendly and make friends of all ages everywhere.
Music time is always your favorite time of day. You always react so positively and even "sing along" yourself. You're singing the last word of every line in "You Are My Sunshine" and "Twinkle Twinkle Litter Star". Even when we're in the car, you always react to the tunes, and clap your hands along to the beat.
You're also doing a great job with your letters and your numbers. Auntie Molly brought a great book for you last week when she visited. It's called "Goodnight Moon 123" and already, you know most of the numbers inside the book. While we're at Nanny's house, you like to give us a full report of what numbers and letters are on Nanny's fridge.
Daddy and I are really enjoying watching you play with your toys, and do pretend play. You do a great job at whipping up pretend meals on yours and Samantha's play kitchen. Probably the best pretend meals Mommy has ever had ;)
Thank you for making Mommy & Daddy smile all the time. We love having you in our life and as part of our family. You never cease to amaze us and what you're capable of doing. We'll always be here for you whenever you need us.
We're so proud of you and love you forever always.
Love, Mommy & Daddy
