Oh The Funny Things Kids Will Say

Samantha is on a roll this week. This girl seriously cracks me up.





The Madore-ables like to watch me put on my make up. I don't put it on everyday, but they will drop everything they're doing just to watch me. Samantha will tell me what I'm applying while Sarah sits pointing to her cheeks, or her eyes depending on if I'm applying my foundation or eyeshadow.



This morning, as I'm getting ready for church, Samantha makes it known that she wants me to check out her face. I do and nothing seems to be out of the norm and so I ask her what she did to her face.





Samantha : "Mommy! I put on mascara, just like you!"





Me : "Ohhh, Sam! You look so pretty!"





Samantha : "Thank you. Yeah, I'm putting on my church mascara"





Me : "Church mascara? What other kinds of mascara are there?" (In my mind, I was thinking maybe "Going to Nanny's mascara" or "Running errands mascara" or even "Watching Sesame Street mascara".)





What was Samantha's response?





Samantha : "It's strawberry or grape flavored!"
