Five Things Friday

Five things that happened this past week that made me smile:

  1. Today it's official:  Sarah is registered for preschool for Fall of 2012!
  2. As if I don't feel old enough.  I register Sarah for preschool and on the same day, I receive an email from the mother of one of Samantha's classmates saying that she's going to sign her daughter up for Youth soccer in the Fall too and suggested maybe Samantha and her classmates should too.  Samantha is in total agreement with the idea.  Yikes.  When did I become old enough for this?
  3. As some of you may know, I work in the retail business.  So, I've seen my share of the public:  both good and bad.  Earlier this week, I received a really nice compliment from a customer that I was waiting on.  He told me, "There are people that are born in this world to be a customer service rep.  And you are amazing at what you do.  Keep up the good work".
  4. In just two weeks, we'll be getting ready to head on up to Mount Blue in Maine to go camping.  The Madore-ables and I have never been before, so this should be quite interesting.  I'm praying HARD that there will be no rain for the 2-3 days we'll be up North.
  5. School is ending which means SUMMER IS HERE!  I love this time of year.  The girls are really excited about swimming in the pool and getting together with our friends who we don't get to see during the Fall and Winter months.  Operation Sunblock is about to commence in 5.  4.  3.  2.  1...
