- This past Wednesday night, my mother and her friend from elementary school with her daughter and I all traveled down to Lowell, Massachusetts to see Yanni in concert. This will be the 3rd time that I have seen him live and I am still blown away by the talent of this man, and his orchestra team. The blend of the instruments, and the voices is just amazing. I was also impressed with the fact that it cost us $5.00 to park our car, and it was less than a half mile from the venue. If you're not familiar with Yanni, I highly recommend you check him out: The Storm or LIVE at the Acropolis.
- Any parent knows that being a parent takes a lot of love and patience and a lot of consistency. It's been a blessing and a struggle for us with getting Samantha to listen to Jeremy and I, but I do have to say that this past week Samantha has done an awesome job at listening to us. Now of course, we know that just because it's been a week we're not going to give up. Jeremy and I know that there's still a lot more discipline and learning and teaching for all of us, but it's a good feeling to know that we're getting somewhere.
- This past week weather wise has been AWESOME! The Madore-ables and I have spent a lot of time outdoors at the playground, and even playing in our driveway with chalk. Next week, it looks like Boston is going to have real Spring like temperatures visiting. Let's hope Mother Nature is being kind to us and not teasing us.
- Training for my AWBC walk continues to go very well. I've started my early morning walking earlier this week, and I'm hitting the gym after the girls go down to bed at night. So between now and the next 5 weeks I'm hoping to walk 8 miles daily between my early a.m walk and my treadmill routine at night at the gym. This coming weekend looks like nice weather, so I'm hoping to work my way up to 13 miles. It's nice to know that if it's too chilly outside, the gym opens up very early and I can walk the treadmill there.
- I have 4 new tires on my Jeep. It might be a small thing to other people, but I do have to say that I love the smell of new tires.
