A Very Sweet Field Trip!

Yesterday, Nanny, the Madore-ables and I went on a very sweet (no pun intended) field trip with the FCC to the New England Chocolate Company in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Jayne was a fantastic tour guide, and she did a wonderful job explaining the process of how chocolate begins and how it ends...in our stomachs :)

Chocolate is there life apparently Here, Jayne is explaining how chocolate begins. This is a chocolate replica of a cocoa bean.

Before we went into the magic kitchen, we had to wear special hats.

Sarah didn't participate in the kitchen, but Jayne was very kind and made an extra piece and gave it to Sarah.
