- Hands down the number one item that has made me smile since Tuesday: being told by Sarah's specialist that she is all healed and that we do not have to schedule any more follow up appointments at Boston Children's. : ) Our prayers have definitely been answered. God is certainly good.
- I'm really looking forward to walking in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) walk tomorrow in Concord, NH. It's a 3 mile walk in hopes to help find a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. It looks like Mother Nature got the memo for nice weather for Saturday too. I'm walking with "The Sweet Hearts" which consists of my Mom, and my best friends Rachael & Molly. There's still time to donate! Feel free to click on my link to help. http://walk.jdrf.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=extranet.personalpage&confirmid=87698631
- I started my new job yesterday. It's just for four hours on Thursdays at Jeremy's workplace. Just some extra moo-lah in the wallet each week which is nice. Right now I'm filling purchase requisitions and organizing closets. I'm sure I'll be doing more stuff later on. Either way, it gets me out of the house for a few hours. A big thanks to Mom for watching the girls for Jeremy and I.
- I've continued getting up crazy early this last week to continue my training for the AWBC. I don't know what I did before iPod's were invented. Walking at 6:30 am is difficult, but walking to music makes things a little bit easier. Plus, knowing that I'm doing something good for my body is also rewarding too.
- If I do say so myself, I made a fantastic batch of Italian Wedding Soup earlier in the week. I love to cook and I love to bake, but I always get this sort of anxiety of how my food is going to turn out. Well, this batch of soup came out fantastic...so I've heard ; ) My Mom gave me her stock pot, and it's a really nice one too. I plan on making large batches of home made soup when the cold weather starts to arrive.
